With the BAC in hand, what next? FATA.SCHOOL CI puts the future of young people at the heart of career guidance
Under the theme "Your future, your choice, your impact," the 2026 Orientation Day brought together new high school graduates at IISAN, in Abidjan Angré, around a major challenge: getting better information to better build one's future.

ABIDJAN ANGRÉ, August 8, 2026 The baccalaureate marks the end of a chapter, but above all the beginning of a new journey. For many young people, this stage comes with an essential question: which path to choose to build one's future? It was around this concern that FATA.SCHOOL CI organized the 2026 Orientation Day on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the IISAN premises in Abidjan Angré. Placed under the theme "Your future, your choice, your impact," this initiative is part of an effort to support young people in their academic and professional choices. The goal: to enable them to better understand the possibilities available to them, to discover new perspectives, and to benefit from advice to approach their future with more points of reference. Because choosing one's orientation is not just about selecting a field of study. It is also about reflecting on one's ambitions, understanding the requirements of the paths being considered, and giving oneself the means to build a coherent project. A meeting to clarify choices and open up perspectives The morning began with a presentation of FATA.SCHOOL, led by Barry Alimou. This session made it possible to present the organization's mission, its commitment to training, and its work in supporting young people with digital tools. Following this, Koffi Koffi Williams presented the FATA application, highlighting its utility, how it works, and the possibilities it offers young people to facilitate their learning, develop their skills, and access resources adapted to their needs. Through this presentation, the focus was placed on the role of digital tools in learning paths and the opportunities they can offer young people eager to strengthen their skills. Exchanges at the heart of reflection on the future Beyond the presentations, the Orientation Day gave significant space to dialogue and the sharing of experiences. During an exchange session, the panelists shared their paths, experiences, and advice with the students. This time of interaction allowed participants to ask their questions, obtain concrete answers about orientation choices, and better understand the realities as well as the requirements of the professional world. The meeting continued with the intervention of Mr. Coulibaly Brahima, Head of Placement at IISAN. His discussion with the participants focused on study possibilities, academic paths, and professional prospects. Through his advice, he invited young people to favor thoughtful choices, in line with their aspirations and goals. These various moments recalled the importance of information, listening, and support in building a future project. Building one's future begins with better choices Making an orientation choice is a decisive step in a young person's journey. Having relevant information, discovering different possibilities, and talking with experienced people are all levers for better planning the next steps of one's journey. It is from this perspective that the action of FATA.SCHOOL CI is taken: to contribute to an environment in which young people can get informed, learn, and develop the skills necessary for their academic and professional development. The 2026 Orientation Day thus constituted a meeting framework between young people, speakers, and support actors, around a common ambition: to encourage more informed orientation and better preparation for the steps to come. A closing marked by sharing The morning ended with a coffee break, offering participants, speakers, and organizers an additional moment to continue the exchanges in a friendly atmosphere. The group photo marked the end of this meeting, bringing together the various actors who contributed to this initiative. FATA.SCHOOL CI: supporting young people also means preparing for tomorrow The 2026 Orientation Day highlighted an essential conviction: the future is also built through the information one receives, the skills one develops, and the choices one learns to make. By organizing this meeting, FATA.SCHOOL CI reaffirms its commitment to the training and support of young people, while emphasizing the importance of helping them better understand the possibilities available to them. "Because every journey is different, every choice deserves to be informed. And because the future is not just a destination, it is built, step by step, with ambitions, knowledge, and thoughtful decisions." May the ink inform, may the words awaken, may the impact remain.
