A day of first steps in HTML and CSS in Conakry

Learning to code means having a chance to practise. On Saturday, July 25, our team in Guinea organized a free introductory HTML and CSS workshop at Elitech Academy in Conakry.

The workshop attracted 120 registrations. For this session, the group was deliberately limited to 25 so that participants could receive close support. All 25 people who confirmed their attendance came along.

After an introduction to fata, trainer Bailo guided participants through the basics of HTML and CSS. Demonstrations were followed by opportunities to work with code and practise. Throughout the day, participants brought their questions to the trainer and ambassadors.

By the end of the workshop, several participants were already asking when the next one would take place. That is encouraging for our team as we continue to organize opportunities to learn together!
