Discovering fata through practice in Abomey-Calavi
fata team

Introducing an app is a start; giving people a chance to try it takes things further! On Saturday, July 18, we took part in the fourth International Forum on Digital Careers and Entrepreneurship, organized by 10.000 Codeurs in Abomey-Calavi, Benin.
Favour, our Benin–Togo lead, introduced fata to the forum audience. The team also invited participants to explore the app through an on-site challenge: sign up, practise and earn at least 1,000 XP to enter the prize draw. It was an opportunity to take their first steps on fata during the gathering. The on-site challenge brought together 50 participants.
Five winners of the draw received a fata kit. Three other participants were also awarded a T-shirt and cap. Alongside the prizes, the format gave people a chance to discover learning in the app by trying it themselves.
The forum also hosted the awards for six LinkedIn Challenge recipients. Over several weeks, that challenge had encouraged participants to share their knowledge and experiences on LinkedIn. The ceremony recognized their consistency and creativity, and the contribution people make to a community by sharing what they learn.
Thank you to 10.000 Codeurs for welcoming us, to our team in Benin and Togo for their commitment, and to everyone who took part in the two challenges. Congratulations to the award recipients!
